Question: I have to find alcohol rehabilitation centers in centereach, new york. how?

I would like to observe the patients because I'm going to make a script and I was planning on having an alcoholic character who is going through inpatient rehabilitation. I figured I'd do better if I'm able to see how the patients are really like in there.

Hmm. That may be a tough one. As far as I know, alcohol rehabs are really strict with regard to the privacy of their patients. They will most likely refuse to allow you to observe them. You can probably interview the counselors and therapists to ask them to describe it all to you, though. To find alcohol rehabs, you can use the links below or look through the local phone directory.
