It might be. You could also have a heart condition or a heart attack that has caused this. There are many causes of an enlarged heart - you need to work with your family physician to manage this condition.

Enlarged heart can be caused by several causes of which drug abuse can be one of the causes depends on what drug misuse ...various reasons for heart enlargement in drug abuse examples being 1. anabolic steroids can cause cardiac muscle problems leading to cardiomyopathy and enlarged heart 2. Intravenous drug use with shared needles or unhygienic technique can lead to infection of the heart valves causing it to malfunction and leading to a condition called infective endocarditis and can lead to heart failure and enlargement 3. cocaine abuse can cause coronary artery spasm and heart attacks and thus weakens heart muscle leading to enlargement subsequent... the list is long
