I've been drinking a lot lately. I haven't really been completely sober since Monday or Tuesday. I start drinking around 12 or 2 everyday and continue on til I pass out around midnight. I usually mix a shot with a glass of coke, so it's not like I'm drinking it straight and getting drunk out of my mind. Lately, I'm getting extremely irritated with everyone around me, and everything annoys me. Do you think this is because of my drinking?When I'm drinking, I'm usually pretty cheery, but as soon as I start to sober up, I get so irritated.

Another thing is that she lost her job so that has made the situation a little worse, but my dad and I have been there for her as much as possible. Its understandable at times, but the mixture of drugs and alcohol is getting out of hand.My family and I are very concerned about my mother and how many drugs she is taking along with alcohol. She has many types of drugs she is taking, pain killers from many different doctors , antidepresants, and many others for diabetes and many other health issues. We are worried that she is taking much more than is perscribed by the doctor, then she drinks until she is drunk while taking these medications. She is pretty much a zombie daily and my father and I don't like seeing her that way. She can not go a day without taking her pain medication, which she probably is in pain, but is taking more than she is supposed to. She has told me in the last couple of days that she has been driving down the wrong sinde of the road and while on the interstate could not stay in one lane, it is very concerning, as she could hurt herself and others. I have been trying to research rehab centers and weather myself or my father could admit her. She jokes about oh well if i die you will have plenty of money from life insurace, which is not funny at all as id rather have my mother around than getting money. I am very concerned for her safety and her health. The other day she couldnt figure out how to start her vehicle and I had to get off work to pick her up. If someone could get me some info and how to deal with this and if we are able to admit her to a rehab center without her concent? She doesnt think she has a problem when we have discussed it with her. Please help, thank you

What causes Halucinations? (Besides drug/alcohol use)?
I've been getting a halucination once a month or so, and I am wondering what causes them?I have severe anxiety disorder, and in most of them I end up having a panic attack in the halucination, or waking up with a panic attack.And no, this isnt just sleep walking, I will walk aroudn during them, though. I will see things that arent there. One time I saw mud dumped all over my counter tops and My dad watched me as I halucinated he couldnt sleep and I was screaming " moms gonna kill me when she sees this mess" And I will also remember seeing and doing those things when I wake up the next day, and its embarrasing because it even happened at a friends house and while I was halucinating I told my frinds dad that I couldnt sleep because play doh was all over the hallway, seriously I said that

Help! Why do people who are addicted to drugs,alcohol,or smoking want others (even friends) to do it with them?
even though they know the hell that especially drugs can cause a person? I drink and smoke and I know that I have been somewhat guilty of this and I have a friend who is addicted to pain killers who is in a round about way doing this.We are very close friends and I love him and he loves me but he's sick. Recently he asked me if I wanted some Loritab I have used them in the past recreationally but not habitually and it hurts me because he knows how terrible it is he now also abuses Oxycontin but offered them to me anyway. It's not like we're teenagers experimenting. We're 27 and 28 years old I understand his addiction very well as I have had issues with alcohol, but my real question is why we want other people to do it with us even when we care about them?

i have wine occaisionally or vodka if i go out have a pre employment drug alcohol test .i do no drugs but wonder about the alcohol testing and what exactly they are looking for or expect should i just not drink at all or is there a length of time i should stop.thank you.

Trying to get help for my boyfriends mother. She has a mental illness and is addicted to drugs and alcohol. Her family has been trying to get her into treatment but doesn't know which to try to get her treatment for first. Are there places that do both? Does any one know of any in Sacramento, Ca or somewhere close to there. Ive read that the cops can take her to get evaluated, but theyve been at her house everynight for the past 5 nights and wont take her, what can we do? what should we do?

i like to do if i drank on saturday around 1030pm and stop before 2am. i drank about 4 shots of vodka and a little bit of joose. i am 5'6 and weigh 150 pounds. so today on wednesday approx 430 pm i took a drug alcohol urine test. i want to know if it shows up. i really want this job. btw i am younger than 21? if for some reason it comes out positive what can i say?
