Cause behavioral problems and other problems after the child is grown?Like it would in infancy and pregnancy?Just not showing up untill the child is grown?

Yes some of the damaged goes unnoticed until they are of school age.

Yes. drugs and alcohol can cause mental retardation, death, cause of asthma, brochitis, SIDS, and other defects

There could be signs of drug abuse from the pregnancy, but people may overlook them until the child is grown.

It's very unlikely, if no symptoms of illness have developed by the time the child is beginning adolescence then an actual illness is unlikely to develop. The child may be more likely to become a substance abuser themselves. I know this from experience with a friend
