Drug Centers: Methadone Facts

Question: Are there any nonprofitable drug centers out there to admit yourself in when you dont have the money?

All communities have substance abuse treatment centers that offer sliding fee scales, and payment through government-funded programs. They may not tell you that up front; you have to ask. The Title XX program is one of them. Its a federal program, for which you will not have to pay anything. But like any other government program, you have to qualify. Be prepared to provide proof of income, identification, if it is court-ordered, etc. Call your local agency or agencies (some may only treat for certain types of abuse, may have other admission criteria, etc.), and ask what you need to do, and if they participate in Title XX (20). Your state/ county may also have resources to pay. Also, unless there is a court order, your privacy is protected, so a family member, boss, neighbor, etc, cannot just call & get info on your progress, or even if u are indeed a client there. I used to work at a substance abuse/ mental health treatment facility, so I am familiar with payment obstacles that many people face, and the payment options available for those with limited income. If you are looking to admit yourself to rehab ... go to your local emergency room. they can get you into a detox facility and help you find a rehab. there are some facilities that will take you on a sliding scale. of course, they know that most addicts do not have jobs and therefore, no source of income, but payment arrangements can be worked out. don't let lack of funds stop you from seeking treatment. getting yourself clean and healthy (or whomever you're speaking of) is the most important thing and the dollars can be worked out later. good luck ~ you can do it.

The only one i know is a county detox centers. they are pretty packed there too. atleast the'll give you some sleeping mwds and something to relax you too. sometimes if you go thru a hospital they can get you in a better drug center. me i was dumb when i got off drugs;i got on methodone then i really had a big drug habbit. don;t ever get on that sh-t good-luck

Go to a website called 4rivers center or do a search engine for it.If they cant help you, I know they can give you an answer to where you can go.I hope you find what youre looking for
