Drug Rehabilitation: Methadone Facts

Question: Are there any drug rehabilitation programs that do not focus on god or scientology?

There are many.... My dad has gone to a couple that do not focous on these things.... One was called Stuart Marchman... But that is in florida...

AA only focusses on a higher power...which could be whatever you want..... even like the sky or a rock...so no, no God is required

I really can't answer that with programs but the 12 steps programs don't focus on religon just spirituality. It's a higher power which could be other than "god "

I suggest Smart Recovery. This is a program based on changing conducts and understanding behavior. It is not against any religious beliefs, but does not incorporate them into the recovery process. The Smart Recovery web-page lists times and places for local groups. They also have an online group and good resources on the web-page.

No they all try and get you to focus on god in american ones.
