Most relapse but there are those that do recover. What rehab helps is them to stop doing it... Like, yeah most will relapse because that is just comfort to them, but they will be able to last longer and longer in between relapses. With rehab it will make recovering when they do give in again easier.

Drug rehabilitation works for some but not all. It is a step in the right direction and it helps recovering drug addicts understand their addiction and how to maintain abstinence. Many will relapse but it is possible to recover fully.
