Heroin detox isn't all she needs. Heroin gives its users a wave of euphoria and she might be lured to try it again. Intervention might work, it might make her agree to get detox and then treatment. Rehabilitation might be necessary, at least you would be sure that she would not be getting any heroin supply in the treatment center. Have her see that she's only wasting her life by relying on heroin. It's not going to do her any good at all. Point out to her that she once lived her life without the drug, she could also do that now. She doesn't want to be controlled by it forever, does she? She can do so much more. Make her realize this. |
