I called the meridean in gainesville they told me that medicaid wont cover me in that county? what isnt it Florida medicaid? I am asking for help I want off of the opiod dependency that I got myself on.Im not askin for pity from anyone just help to find a clinic or a doctor that can help me.I tried quiting on my own and I couldnt stand the chills hot flashes diarrhea ,vomiting,cramps,and pain. I nned help and I dont know what to do. I live in a small town in the middle of northeast florida between Jacksonville,gainesville,ocala,and st.augustine. I just want to know if there are any clinic that will take my medicaid. I have whats called share of cost and if my bill is over 96 dollars amonth medicaid will pay any bills for the remainder of the month and It starts over again the first of the next month as long as my bill is over 96 dollars my medically needy turn to straight medicaid

What are opioids? or methadone and lexapro?
what are opioids? i'm very distressed because someone i live with has an opioid history.i don't even know what opioids are, but he's currently prescribed methadone and lexapro. is he potentially dangerous?i just found out.EDIT i think that he's still using something. he's advocating drug usage on the internet and doing strange things at home here. and getting into a lot of unsafe accidents.EDIT i don't have access to his doctor. he doesn't give me his medical information. i found these things out by reading things that he's written over the internet.

How long do you have to go to a methadone clinic until they let you start bringing your medicine home.?
I have been going to a methadone clinic for about 3 days to get off pain pills. I have to go every morning and take my medicines for that day but its a 45 min drive. Does anyone know how long you have to go until they let you bring a couple days worth of medicine home and not have to go every day?

Was off methadone for 3 days?
Then 3 days later took another 1.5 mg subutex. Then 3 days later took 9 mg methadone. Been 2 days since the methadone. Have i set myself back to square 1 with all the drug swapping? I have heard that it can help with the withdrawals. I have about 6 mg methadone left and was going to take 1 mg every 3 days and then be done with it. Anyone have advice on whether this is a good or bad idea?

Am I overdosing on methadone?
I have been on 55 mg's of methadone for about the past 6 months. I am doing a slow opiate taper due to recent dependence because of a surgery.This methadone can make me SEVERELY tired and lethargic. Sometimes i will be laying down and i will say things that make no sense, I will pass out unintentionally, and when I wake up I will shoot out of the laying position extremely fast as I find myself very short of breath unable to think and very light headed. Are these common side effects of opiate dependence? The side effects are really beginning to scare me. My dose has been stable for the past 6 months and these side effects are relatively new.

I have a friend who has been on Methadone for years now and I'm wondering how much does it cost on average to go to a clinic for Methadone everyday? What is a weekly cost? What is a monthly cost? Will I become addicted to methadone if I take it for 4 or 5 days?
I currently am taking about 45 to 60mg oxycontin a day and have been for the past year or so. Oak now at a point in my life were I want nothing more then to stop takin these damn pills. I have a friend that can get me methadone pills. I am planing on taking the pills for 4 or 5 days to help me quit. Mentally I'm more ready to stop then anything else in this world but I feel I need something to just take away the cravings. I know that If I can go for the few days without the opiate I will be able to stop. My concern is will I become phallically addicted to the methadone after taken it for a few days and will the pain of the withdrawals from the oxy be gone after those few days

im on a methadone script, and its great coz im not doing heroin anymore but it seems to have stopped my period, but im really concerned that now i wont ever have a period again and wont be able to get pregnant..is this true do you think????

2 weeks on Methadone. Stopped cold turkey?
Hey I was on 15 mg of methadone for 2 3 weeks. I know you should never stop taking methadone cold turkey but I needed to for a drug test. IS 3 weeks long enough to have withdrawal symptoms because right now i've been off it 3 days and feel horrible. thanksI'm getting back on it on monday.
