Anyone on methadone for fibromyalgia?
How long does it take before building a tolerance. It works wonders, but i am scared that i should up my dosage regularly.Only been on it for a week so far, switched over from subutex.I would not up my dosage by myself. I want to find out if anyone's DOCTOR had to up their dosage. Clear?

I have a friend, Sue, who was trying to become a physician assistant, and was ready to enter a program this fall. Then, another PA told Sue that she might couldn't get a license b c she had been to a methadone clinic in the past. The state board of medicine WV said that it was possible that she could find herself unable to be licensed after graduation. So, she decided to apply to a nursing program, but has not been able to get the state nursing board to answer her question. Also, I don't know if it matters, but Sue does have a medical condition for which she was prescribed narcotic pain relievers. She sought the help of a methadone clinic after developing a dependence on the pain pills, and then entered a Suboxone program to get off the methadone. She's very distraught that she may have irrevocably ruined her life by trying to get help, and needs to know ASAP whether she can enter a nursing program or not.

I have a friend that just got pulled over for not turning into the " right" lane supposedly and they are giving her a dui for being on methadone, frist they thought she was on speed then they changed their mind and said it must be weed. Neither applied just the methadone and she hasn't taken the blood test, can she fight it? or get it dropped? This happened in Lynnwood Washington.

How soon after using alot of prescription opiods and i meanALOT can i take methadone ?
My man and i have quite a pain pill habit. we have been taking about 900 mgs of oxycodone 30s and 450 600mgs of the same for me, we have some methadone 10mg pills, how long should we wait until we take some? And how many mgs should do the trick? And what if we need pain pills he just had back surgery and has legitimate pain, although he has most definitly abused that., and for myself i have some health issues that intermittantly give me pain if we were to take some pain pills would they not work? would he feel pain relief froim the pain pills mixed with the painkilling ability of the methadone? i have been told that it would make u sick to take both in the same day but have seen people do both and still get high.PLEASE HELP....

i live in the uk and im taking 45ml methadone daily, and on daily pick up from the chemist. i am planning to go to france this year and wanted to know if i'll be allowed to take it into the country and if i need to get permission from anyone. i'll be going for no longer then a week. and should be going by ferry or channel tunnel. what authorities do i need to inform, and do i need to let the ferry channel train staff know. and do i need a note from drug clinic or doctor?any help would be much appreciated.

I have back problems and have been taking 40 mgs of methadone a day for a year now. I am having trouble getting off of them and have been suggested suboxone. Just wondering how long this will take to kick and If I will just end up replacing suboxone for the methadone. Any first hand info on suboxone would be appreciated. Before I talk to a doctor.

It is my 9th day on methadone from subutex and am severely tired?
I only take 20mg. I take physeptone linctus 50mg, which is 5 2. I take 25mg in the morning and then I just want to sleep. Also on Effexor. I used to be on 8mg of subutex, so i am defnitely used to opiods. Could it be a side effect?

My husband and I just got off methadone's... It's been a week for me and I still feel like shit. I only took a 10mg. a day and that only started in the last year. For two years I only swallowed a half My hubby on the other hand has taken ALOT in a day for the past six years. I figured my with drawl would be fairly quick but I still feel hell after a week. I've been doing research and they all say that someone who has taken a lot of these pills needs assistance of some kind. My husband is freakin' out The researches also say it can last up to years to get past the with drawls I don't have time for that Who really knows how long methadone with drawls are? And because I took far less than my hubby will my pain last years too? I'm worried about him and don't know what I could do to help him and help myself. On top of keeping it cool in front of two children. Any help would be appreciated
