Question: Methadone detox help?

I have been on 80mg of methadone for about a year now...i live in jersey and am moving out of state so i wanted to detox before i made the move..they have me going down 2mg per day at the clinic i go to...Today i took 48mg...i am not feeling horrible but not great either...basically i have two questions. Is there anything i can take to help the detox period go more smoothly? and After I've taken my last dose how long until i feel normal again??

Theres aparently some pill called subitex or something i think its meant to ween you off the methadone but its still harsh. Tbh the methadone is worse than the smack itself, the easiest way to get off it i think it literally to use willpower and cut down, and if u decide to do a bit of smack dont do methadone that can help, just limit how much you take n that. Ive never done heroin myself but i have seen people trying to get off methadone and it isn't nice and tbh my heart goes out to you, i hope you get off it, its nasty stuff. Good Luck :) xx
