Well, been on methadone maintenance for 14 months. methadone is just as addicting as any other drug. only much easier to get ahold of for we go to the clinic to get it. taking pills, even a few, may feed your addiction. why not try laughing gas. or, some dentist use gas that knocks u out completly. iB PROPHEN 800. ONCE THE tooth is pulled the infection goes away. gas isnt cheap but hella cheaper than a pill adiction. can u find a dentist who will give you gas, antibiotics, antiinflamatory and ib800. thats your best bet. dont know if ill ever kick the methadone. take life as it comes but wish idve done 3 days of withdrawl as opposed to methadone withdrawl which has bad effects up to 9 monts, worse than heroin.

DUde, Suboxone is a horrible pain killer being it is a partial agonist, it will only activate pain receptors half way, and no matter what you take, it only turns them on half way. It is not good for pain, and in my opinion it sucks for addiction and is worse than anything in the world to get off of. Methdone is a great pain-killer but you need at least 60 to 100 mg's a day for it to work on pain, and that dose must be brought up gradual, so no, he wouldn't. ANd what do you mean clean fron pain-killers, if you need pain killer's for therapuetic reasons your fine, no reason to say clean unless your are an addcit and was just taking them for no reason. Hydrocodone is fantastic for targeting tooth pain, from what I hear. EDIT; and.........First of all, to the idiot who first answered your question, if you are reffering to the naloxone as the agfonist, (I NEVER SAID NALOXONE IS AN agonist IT IS AN ANTAGONIST!!!!!!!!!) it is absolutely not active when taking suboxone sublingually,(It is not active PERIOD!)) in other words the naloxone in the suboxone does not do anything, only if you shoot it up. ...........and it doesn't even if you bang it. get your facts straight! WHAT the PHUCK is this clown talking about?Sub is a partial agonist, Naloxone is the antagonist, (You called it an agonist!) AND I never even mentioned any of this, HE ASKED if a dentist would prescribe sub for pain, it is a horrible pain killer because it is a partial agonist!!!!! It has no ceiling! Whatever you take it is a partial agonist! Thus, shit for pain! that was the question! what is this PUNK talking about? can someone please explain, AND dumb ass, the naoxonel, will do little even if injected once the suboxone is in you, it has the highest affinity of just about any other opiate for receptor sites on the planet, it holds so damn tight, the naloxone will not even knock it off! NOT IN THAT ratio. Naloxone is not an opiate agonist you dumbphuck! you people need to go away! I will run circles around you dude. AND idiot! Suboxone and Methadone are potent, but so slow acting, it takes an hour for meth to kick in and a person use to perc's will not even FEEL 10mg of MTD!, The Oxy is stronger than either sub or methadone .

And to answer the question, you can ask, but I seriously doubt a dentist will give you suboxone or methadone.... they are actually both REALLy potent opiates, very strong, and suboxone wouldnt help your pain persay, anyhow.... if i were you, i'd just ask for tramadol or something like that.
