Opiate Detox: Methadone Facts

Question: Is there anybody out there doing a prescription or illicit opiate detox right now?

Im interested in this one too.I do know you will feel tired,eyes may be very teary,yawning,and you will be in the bathroom alot,the fatigue is usually overwhelming,and basically you do not feel like talking.I am pondering doing the same thing,the sooner the better,I went through it once before about 12 years ago and it wasnt fun especially the mind stuff cause your brain starts to think differently and if you have been suppressing feelings or using because of bad experiences your mind will start thinking about all the things you missed out of thinking about while on the drugs. I did detox last year double detox alcohol and prescription drugs i had high dose of Librium and over the week it was reduced i was in rehab 4 three weeks it was brill, it was NHS . The staff were brill the groups very educational. I have been dry and drug free since last June and it feels wonderful.The withdrawal was all right staff monitor u it is like a hospital but staff wear ordinary clothes the meals were good. and after 3 days you are allowed out if u want .But if you take any drugs or alcohol in thy will kick u out. You can also have home detox nurse visits you 3 times dally for a week same drugs used as rehab detox hope this as been helpful
