No. 48 hours will only make u lose water weight, in other words you'll gain it right back once you eat/ drink something. i once did a 10 day detox and lost like 10 pounds or more but gained double back like right away. not a good idea..

Oh my gosh. i keep seeing ads for this crap. to be honest with you i havnt tried it, nor do i know others who have. however... the thoery behind it from what i gather is to eat nothing for 2 days, except for the sachet liquid they give you. this liquid doesnt contain anything fantastic - more like a nice big drinkable multivitamin. from what i have read about all detoxes - yes they make you lose weight (of course because your not eating for 2 days!! - this means your missing out on approx 17000kj of food which can create about 1/ 2 a kg of body fat). i would also suspect the product to contain fibre or some type of laxitive in order to clear out the waste in your body (which would actually account for a fair bit of weight). however the weightloss from detox is NEVER perminent. it can really screw your body and metabolism over and make it actually harder for you to lose weight in the future - or even make you gain weight post-detox. in short: NO!!! it doesnt work!!!!!!
