Vicodin Addiction: Methadone Facts

Question: How do you deal with a vicodin addiction? i used to take one and now i'm up to 6. i love it but need to stop?

Oh no.. not 6 a day... 6 at a time! lol. I take approx. 13 a day. I don't always take 6. It ranges from 3- 6 depending on how I'm feeling. I've overdosed in the past and stuff too.. I have depression so... idk... I take Prozac but theres only so much it can do since the main problem causing my depression is still here. I am totally addicted to vicodin though. I've tried to get off it many times but I just cant.. When I'm not on it, I crave it like crazy and it's all I can think about.. It's completely killing my grades too... dang idk what to do...

Do you mean you're up to 6 Vicodin a day ? Damn how do you function ? You've got to see someone for opiates addiction. Check into your local hospital for either outpatient or inpatient help.

You do need to stop and if you can't do it yourself, then you need to get professional help.

Flip with with another... balance it out then use another to ease off it... but like most drugs you never really get over it...

Don't think you're the only one who is going through this type of situation, because there are many other people who are in the same boat as you. Considering the fact that this vicodin addiction you have is affecting other parts of your life, I think you should seek professional help. Drug addiction is not always something that you can handle quitting on your own, and since you take 3-6 at one time, is definitely a major issue. I know someone personally who dealt with a similar type of situation, different drug, but same problem and she went to Stepping Stone, Center for Recovery, and let me tell you, changed her life. This rehab center totally turned her around.
